Description

The West End is a pair of early to mid-19th century cottages, now combined into a single dwelling. It was likely built in two phases. The exterior is constructed of coursed rubble with pantile and 20th-century concrete interlocking tile roofs. The building is two storeys high and has a 2:1 window arrangement on the first floor. Large, axe-dressed quoins are visible on both sections. The windows are fitted with deep cement lintels and stone sills, and feature four-pane sash windows. The left section has a central four-panel door. A pantile roof and brick end stacks are present. The right section slightly projects and includes one bay of smaller four-pane sash windows with a slightly higher 20th-century roof.
