Description
Hogra Farmhouse and calf house is a building from the late 17th century, featuring later alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a Welsh slate roof and has two storeys, with a total of four openings on the first floor.
On the ground floor of the house, there is a 20th-century four-panel door set in a chamfered ashlar surround in the second bay. To the left, there is a 20th-century six-pane casement window, and to the right, a 20th-century four-pane window that retains part of the stone surround from a former mullion window. The first floor includes a three-light double-chamfered mullion window, a 20th-century four-pane casement window, and a four-pane window set within the surround of a two-light double-chamfered mullion window. There is a kneeler and ashlar coping on the left side, along with end stacks.
To the right is the calf house, which features a board door. On the ground floor, there is a surround of a two-light chamfered mullion window, and on the first floor, there is a pitching door leading to the hay-loft.
