Description
Crayke House is a house built in the 17th and 19th centuries, consisting of two sections. It is constructed of rubble, with some areas roughcast, and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and presents two first-floor windows on the right and one on the left. The older section on the right has a board door situated below a projecting slab, along with a ground floor that includes a 3-light chamfered mullion window and a chamfered fire window. On the first floor, there is a 2-light chamfered mullion window. The right return of the house features a large external chimney stack. The later section to the left includes two bays of 16-pane sash windows set beneath deep lintels and has a stack at the left end.
