Description

These gate piers, located approximately 100 metres south of Stainley Hall Farmhouse, date from the late 17th century to early 18th century. They are made of ashlar and stand about 4 metres high. The piers are octagonal in shape, featuring a cornice and a ball finial atop a bulbous base. The left (western) pier has been recently rebuilt and may have been repositioned during the time of the resurvey.
