Description
Crab Manor is a house built in the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a Westmorland slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, along with a rear service wing. The exterior features rusticated quoins. The central entrance is adorned with two plain Doric columns that support an entablature. The doorcase includes plain pilasters, a moulded archivolt, and a six-panel door topped with a fanlight. The windows are sash style, featuring glazing bars and incised lintels, with frames that are slightly recessed. There is a wooden eaves cornice with paired dentils, and the roof is hipped, although the chimneys are not visible.
