Description

Mill Cottage is a house and outbuilding, now functioning as a house, dating from the mid-18th century with 20th-century remodelling. The building is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond and features a trellis porch with a pantile roof. It has two low storeys and four windows. The entrance is a board door located beneath the porch, which has a shaped gable. Throughout the cottage, there are two-light, small-pane horizontal sliding sashes with painted stone sills. All openings are topped with thin timber lintels, and there is a stepped brick eaves course. The cottage has end and centre stacks.
