Description
Vine Cottage is a house from the 18th century that was altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick, with some areas rendered, and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a hipped roof, with a central triple chimney stack and a projecting two-storey porch that has a bargeboard. The windows are arranged regularly, with three metal casements on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all featuring moulded label hoods, except for the central window which has a blind hood. The central door is boarded and set within a four-centred arched surround, also with a label hood. The side windows of the central porch still have their original latticed metal casements. There is a small blank shield at the top of the gable. The cottage is included for its group value.
