Description

Hillside is a house that dates from the 17th century and was extended in the early 19th century. It has a timber frame and is weather boarded, with the left side rendered and topped with a thatched roof. The extension is made of red brick. The house has a two-cell lobby entry plan and is one storey high with an attic. It features a hipped roof, two flat-roofed dormers, and a central chimney stack. On the ground floor, there are two wooden casement windows and a central door made up of six raised and fielded panels. At the rear left, there is a single-storey wing that includes one glazing bar sash window, one wooden casement, a boarded door, and a tall chimney stack. The building is included for its group value.
