Description
Haughton Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof, with a single ridge and a right external gable stack. The building has two storeys plus a garret and consists of four bays. A first-floor band is interrupted by the windows and a porch. The porch, which is of 20th-century red brick and pantile, has a gabled and closed design with a central doorway that includes a panelled door. Each side wall has a single glazing bar casement window, while to the right there is a single glazing bar sash window and to the left, two similar sashes. Above these, there are four additional similar sashes, all of which are set under segmental arches. A 20th-century buttress is located at the right corner. To the right, there is a single-storey conservatory made of brick, wood, and glass, set back from the main structure. To the left, also set back, is a single-storey porch. At the rear, there is a lower two-storey, two-bay wing that features dentil eaves and a single gable stack, which is attached to part of the farm buildings.
