Description
Watermill Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. It features two red brick gable stacks and has dentil eaves set on a brick plinth. The building is two storeys tall with a garret and consists of three bays. The central doorway, which is accessed by three steps, has a six-fielded panel door with an overlight, wooden panelled reveal, and a wooden surround. There are two wooden consoles that support the cornice. On either side of the doorway, there are single 20th-century glazing bar casements in the original openings, which have cambered arches. Above the doorway, there are three similar casements also under cambered arches. At the rear of the farmhouse, there is a lean-to.
