Description

Mount Farmhouse is a house built in the late 18th century, with a 20th-century addition. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and has a roof covered with 20th-century concrete pantiles. The house features a central hallway entry and stands two storeys tall, with three first-floor windows and a 20th-century outshut to the right. The entrance includes a six-fielded-panel door with an overlight, flanked by four-pane sash windows with keyed lintels. On the first floor, there is a painted mock window next to two four-pane sashes with wooden lintels. The building has sprocketed eaves, gable coping, shaped kneelers, and end stacks. The outshut to the right is not of special interest.
