The Millhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone with a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. Quoins are visible. The central doorway features a six-panel door, with the top four panels glazed, set within a plain stone surround. Flanking the door and on the first floor are recessed, flat-faced three-light mullion windows, also in plain surrounds. The roof has shaped kneelers, an ashlar coping, and end stacks.
