Description

This is a range of outbuildings located approximately 45 metres north of Settrington House, dating from around 1790. The buildings are constructed from squared limestone, featuring a brick eaves course and a slate roof. The end right has tooled quoins. All openings have timber lintels. The structure is single-storey with 1.5-storey bays at each end and in the centre. The central bays project and include a 20th-century board door along with two 3-light, small-pane horizontal sliding sash windows. The doors to the end bays have divided overlights, while the remaining doors are made of planks. Most windows consist of 16-pane fixed lights. The roof has a pent design with pyramidal roofs over the taller bays. The outbuildings now serve as the Estate Office and additional storage.
