Description
Holly Bank is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is built of coursed rubble sandstone and features a pantile roof with rebuilt brick stacks. The house has a two-cell, direct-entry plan with a rear service room. The front elevation is two storeys high and has two windows. The central entrance consists of a plank door with a square recessed panel above it. The windows are two-light, 16-pane horizontal sliding sashes with painted stone sills throughout. The ground-floor openings have tooled wedge lintels, while the first-floor openings have thin timber lintels. The house has end stacks and was unoccupied at the time of the resurvey.
