Description

Nos 24 and 25 Eastgate are 18th century or early 19th century buildings that stand two storeys tall, constructed from coursed rubble with a pantile roof. They feature coped gable ends with kneelers. Each storey has two windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars set under stone lintels. There is a modern door located beneath a blocked rectangular fanlight. The buildings are linked to the adjacent property at a two-storey height, also made of coursed rubble, which has one small casement window beneath a narrow lintel. The doors to Nos 26 and 29 are also present. Nos 18 to 25 and 30 to 37 Eastgate form a group.
