Description

This is a late 18th-century house, with alterations made to the front in the early 19th century. The front is built of red brick in English bond, with a stone plinth, while the rear is of coursed sandstone. It has a tiled roof and brick stacks. The house has a three-storey, two-window facade. A recessed six-panel door is located on the left side, with panelled reveals and overlight within a cornice doorcase supported by pilasters. To the right is a flat-topped square bay window. The first-floor windows are 16-pane sashes with a grooved, keyed wedge lintel. The second-floor windows are unequal 12-pane sashes. All upper windows have stone sills and painted lintels. The rear of the house is two storeys high, with 12-pane sashes and a catslide roof, and includes end stacks.
