Description

The Yard is a house built in the late 18th century. It features hammer-dressed limestone on the front and random bond brick at the rear, topped with a pantile roof. The building has a central entry and consists of two parallel ranges under an M-shaped roof, with an additional outshut on the left side. The entrance includes a 4-panel door with an overlight above it. Throughout the house, there are 16-pane sash windows set beneath keyed stone lintels. The eaves are sprocketed, and there are stacks at each end of the building.
