Description

Barton House is a house built in the early 19th century, constructed from hammer-dressed limestone with a 20th-century pantile roof. The building features a 4-bay hallway-entry plan with a cross wing at the rear. It stands two storeys tall and has four windows on the first floor. The entrance includes a 4-fielded-panel door with a divided overlight located in the third bay. The windows are 16-pane sashes throughout, except for the sash with glazing bars positioned above the door. Flat stone arches are present over the windows. The roof is hipped to the right and has end and ridge stacks.
