Description

The cross base, located one metre north of the west end of the Church of St Michael in Barton-le-Street, is a medieval structure made of gritstone. It is sub-rectangular in shape, standing approximately 0.5 metres tall and 0.3 metres deep, featuring a rebate for the shaft.
