Description
Sycamore House is a late 18th-century house located on the north side of The Green in Dufton. It is constructed from coursed sandstone blocks and features a graduated slate roof with stone copings and kneelers at the east end. The chimneys at the mid and west ends are rendered with a cornice, while the east end chimney is finished in incised stucco. The house has a low two-storey, five-bay front, which includes a glazed door with one window to the left and three windows to the right, along with five windows above. All the windows are small sashes with glazing bars. A 20th-century extension at the rear is not included in the listing.
