Description
The Rectory is a house dated 1821. It is constructed from coursed sandstone blocks with quoins. The roof is of graduated slate with stone end chimneys. The building is two storeys and has a four-bay front. A flight of steps leads to a panelled front door, set within a corniced architrave. The lintel above the door is inscribed "18 L. HEELIS RECTOR 21”. There are two sash windows to the left, one to the right, and four above. All windows have glazing bars and stone surrounds. A single-storey range adjoining the north end at the rear is not part of the listed building.
