Description
The forecourt walls and railings in front of the White House in Long Marton date from the 19th century. The walls are low and constructed from coursed, squared rubble, topped with wide segmental coping. The gate piers are made of ashlar and feature square, domical tops. The wrought-iron railings include standards with a corkscrew twist above the top rail.
