Description
This is a dovecote located approximately 60 meters north-north-east of Levens Farmhouse, possibly dating from the 18th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble made of small stones and features a graduated greenslate pyramidal roof with stone hips and a broken finial. The east side has a door opening with a timber lintel, along with a smaller opening above it. Inside, there are nesting boxes for doves and a later intermediate floor.
