Description
The limekiln, likely built in the mid-19th century, is constructed from roughly-squared limestone and features a splayed plinth. It has a semicircular head to the hearth, which is adorned with radiating voussoirs. Although the top of the structure is incomplete, it remains largely intact. The limekiln is built into the hillside and is flanked by retaining walls, making it a notable feature in the landscape.
