SD 57 NE HUTTON ROOF NEWBIGGIN

18/91 Barn approx. 50m to east of Manor Farmhouse (q.v.) G.V. II

Barn. Datestone reads: "EBB/1730/AB" with later alterations and additions. Stone rubble with slate roof. 5-bay barn has entrance with enriched datestone partly obscured by later pentice with cheeks. Lean-to outshut to left return and rear. Roof structure renewed in C19. Included for group value.
