Description

These are three adjacent houses dated to the 18th century, located on Bongate in Appleby in Westmorland. The houses are constructed with roughcast over stone, and have slate roofs. Nos. 31 and 35 each have a vertically-panelled door. No. 31 has one 16-paned sash window on each floor. No. 35 has a glazed and panelled door, a new glazed door, two sash windows on the ground floor, all sheltered by a glazed lean-to roof supported on timber piers, with two sash windows above.
