Description

The Courtfield Hotel, formerly known as St. Michael's Vicarage, is an early 19th-century building located in Appleby in Westmorland. It features a coloured roughcast exterior over stone and has quoins at the corners. The building has a hipped slate roof that is set behind a parapet and is two storeys high, with a stone band running along the façade. The central doorway is framed by a Doric porch, which has been glazed. On the ground floor, there are two 12-paned sash windows, while the upper floor contains three 16-paned sash windows, all of which are set within plain stone architraves.
