Beech Croft is a Gothic cottage orné, built in 1809. It features scored stucco over stone and has deep coved eaves. The cottage includes a three-sided castellated porch and a Gothic doorway with a four-centred arch, which leads to a Gothic-traceried door. The main part of the house is two storeys high, with a single storey wing on each side and a conservatory at the rear. The windows have round-headed lights and hollow-chamfered stone mullions and transoms.
