Description

These are two 18th-century buildings, originally constructed with a painted stucco finish over stone. They stand on the east side of Bongate in Appleby-in-Westmorland. The buildings are two storeys high and feature two plain entrance doors, with the No. 5 door now set within a new glazed porch. The ground floor contains three windows, while the upper floor has four. All windows are plain sashes, with the original glazing bars having been removed.
