Description

Howgate Foot, No. 4, is a building dating from 1692, located in Appleby in Westmorland. It is constructed of whitewashed stone and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and includes a modern door, three 12-paned sash windows on the ground floor, and two additional 12-paned sash windows on the upper floor. There are also two horse-tethering rings at the ground level. This structure was formerly known as the Queen's Head public house.
