Description

The Police Station, dated 1770, is constructed of stone with a hipped roof. It is a two-storey building with a central doorway featuring a rectangular fanlight above. The ground floor has two windows, and the first floor has three, separated by a stringcourse. Long and short quoins are present. Projecting forward on either side are single-storey wings with hipped roofs, each incorporating a segmental-arched passageway in front. A flagged terrace with a parapet wall and a central gate, leading up four stone steps, sits in front of the central block and between the wings.
