Description
Little Blencow Farmhouse and the adjoining barn date from 1769, as indicated by the inscription over the entrance. The farmhouse features painted roughcast walls and a graduated greenslate roof with a right coped gable and kneeler, along with red sandstone banded chimney stacks. It is two storeys high and has two bays, with the barn located under the same roof. The house has a central plank door set in a stone surround, which includes a dated false keystone. There are sash windows, with a triple window on the left and a double window on the right, all framed in painted chamfered stone surrounds. The barn has a central plank door in a stone surround beneath a slit vent and a right 19th-century pent extension. The left side of the barn is part of another property and is not of interest.
