Description

Blencow Methodist Chapel is a Methodist chapel dated 1877, located in Little Blencow, Greystoke. The building features mixed grey and pink sandstone rubble walls, with eaves modillions set on a chamfered plinth. It has a graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and a tall right stone finial. The chapel is a single storey structure with two bays and includes a left lean-to porch. The porch has a plank door within a shouldered surround, while the chapel itself is adorned with two-light elliptical-arched windows. It is listed for its group value with Blencow Bridge.
