Description

Blencow Bridge is an early 19th-century road bridge constructed of dressed red sandstone. It features two segmental arches with recessed voussoirs, supported by central splayed cutwaters. The bridge has a solid chamfered parapet that includes central pedestrian refuges and terminates in square piers topped with shaped caps. There is a central inscription that reads "D.P.C." (Dacre Parish Council). This bridge is located partly within the Greystoke civil parish.
