Description
1, Moss View is a late 18th century house located in Temple Sowerby. It is constructed of coursed rubble with an incised stucco front and features rusticated quoins. The graduated slate roof includes stone coping, a kneeler, and a chimney at the south end. The house has a symmetrical two-storey, three-bay front with a central part-glazed door flanked by a single sash window on each side, and two additional sash windows on the first floor. All windows are fitted with glazing bars and have stone surrounds. The property is complemented by 19th century wrought iron railings and a gate featuring pointed standards.
