Description

Eastgate is a late 18th or early 19th century house and former cottage situated on the Green in Milburn. The front of the house is faced with incised stucco, featuring rusticated quoins. It has a graduated slate roof with brick mid and end chimneys. The main 3-bay house has a central panelled door within a corniced doorcase, flanked by a single sash window on either side, with three sashes above. Adjoining the house to the right is a single-bay former cottage, with a sash window on each floor. All sashes have glazing bars within stone surrounds.
