Description

Cross Fell Cottage is a cottage dated 1753. It features sandstone blocks on the front and snecked rubble with quoins on the sides. The roof is made of graduated slate and has stone coping, kneelers, and a corniced chimney at the south end. The symmetrical two-storey, three-bay front has a central part-glazed door with a dated panel above the lintel. There are mullioned three-light casement windows with glazing bars set in stone surrounds. An adjoining barn range to the north is not included in this listing.
