Description
Milburn House Farmhouse is an early 18th-century house with later additions and alterations. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble with quoins set on a boulder plinth. The original house features a graduated slate roof with coping and a kneeler on the south side, along with end chimneys. The south extension has a Welsh slate roof and a stone end chimney, and the ridge of the original house has been raised when the rear was extended.
The farmhouse is two stories high and has four bays. It includes a panelled, segment-headed door with a three-light casement window with mullions to the left. To the right, there is a three-light window and a one-light window, all featuring stone surrounds. On the upper floor, there are four sash windows, and the south extension has a single sash window on each floor, all with glazing bars set in stone surrounds.
