Description

The Hare and Hounds is a mid-18th century building located on Boroughgate in Appleby in Westmorland. It is three storeys tall and constructed of stone. The building features a 19th-century shop front that includes colonnets and foliated capitals, which have been filled in with two sash windows. At the rear, there is a rusticated segmental-headed archway leading to the stables. Each upper storey contains two sash windows.
