Description

The building is a mid-to-late 19th-century former bank, located on the east side of Boroughgate in Appleby in Westmorland. Constructed of ashlar stone, it is three storeys tall. The rear elevation features a segmental archway leading to a rear yard. The ground floor has two round-arched windows. The first floor has four segmental-headed windows, and the top floor has four sash windows. The building is topped with a castellated parapet supported by brackets.
