Description

No. 28 Boroughgate is a building from the mid-18th century, constructed of ashlar stone with long and short quoins. It features a cornice and stands three storeys tall, with a basement on High Wiend. The central doorway is chamfered and has a round-arched hood supported by simple brackets. On the ground floor, there are two windows, with the left one being a plain square bay that was likely added in the 19th century. Each upper storey has three sash windows, which are 12-paned and set in hollow-chamfered architraves.
