Description

Priest Bridge is a bridge located in Lower Allithwaite, dating from the 17th or 18th century, with widening that occurred in the 1780s and 20th-century parapets. It is constructed of stone rubble featuring dressed voussoirs and has a segmental stone arch. The bridge has coped parapets, with the southeast side being corbelled out to the left and recessed to the right to align with the road.
