Description

This is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with subsequent alterations. It is constructed of roughcast stone with a graduated slate roof. The building is two stories high, originally featuring two windows to the first floor. The doorway, located left of centre, has a 20th-century door set within a stone architrave, itself supported by a cornice on consoles. The windows are 20th-century casements with projecting stone sills, and the ground-floor windows have cambered heads. Moulded cast-iron gutters are supported on shaped stone blocks. The right-hand gable has shaped kneeler details and copings, and there are end stacks. At the rear of the property, part of a stair window is visible, featuring Gothick glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
