Description
Sowerby Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1880. It features scored stucco with red sandstone dressings and a graduated slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with raised quoins. The central entrance consists of a boarded door with an overlight, set under a plain lintel, and is flanked by paired four-pane sash windows with stone mullions. On the first floor, there are plain sash windows, with the central window being narrower but also consisting of four panes. The farmhouse has stone stacks at both ends. It is included in the heritage listing for its group value.
