The building has painted incised stucco walls, a Welsh slate roof with a bottom course of red sandstone slate, and stone chimney stacks. The public house, located on the left, features a 20th-century door within a plain painted stone surround. It is flanked by tripartite sash windows, and the upper floor has sash windows with glazing bars in painted stone surrounds. The manager’s house, to the right, has a plank door in a plain painted stone surround. One window on the right is a sash with glazing bars; the remaining windows are 2-pane sashes with plain painted stone surrounds.
