Description
Rose Cottage and the adjoining stable are a house and former stable dating from the late 17th century, with later alterations. The building features painted roughcast walls and a graduated greenslate roof, which has rebuilt brick chimney stacks. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with a single-bay stable on the left under a common roof. The right side has a 20th-century door set in a painted stone surround, while the windows are also 20th-century casements within original painted stone surrounds. The stable includes a 20th-century door in a flat-headed surround, and the left return wall has a large 20th-century casement window with glazing bars.
