Description

This is a barn located east of Holly House, dated 1767 as inscribed over the entrance, although the inscription is too weathered to read. The barn features limestone rubble walls with flush quoins and is topped with a graduated greenslate roof. It has four bays and an off-centre segmental-arched cart entrance that includes a dated keystone. On the left side, there is a blocked doorway, while on the right, there is a plank door set in an alternate-block surround beneath a loft opening. An extreme right casement window is present, and above it, there is a loft doorway accessed by external wooden steps. The rear additions of the barn are not of interest. The barn is listed for its group value with Holly House.
