Description

Town Head Farmhouse is a 19th-century farmhouse dated 1826 and inscribed "J & HA 1826." It is constructed of limestone rubble walls with flush sandstone quoins, topped with a graduated greenslate roof and brick chimney stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has two bays. The front features a 20th-century door within a painted stone surround, including an oval lintel date plaque and cornice. Sash windows with glazing bars are set within painted stone surrounds. A round-headed stair window is on the rear.
