Description

This property comprises a row of five buildings, numbers 26, 27, 27A, 28, and 28A, on King Street. Likely dating from the 18th century, the buildings have been altered over time. No. 26 has a gable end facing Langton Street and is four storeys high. The ground floor features a modern door, a sash window, and a small shop window. The two middle floors have two 16-paned sash windows each, and the top floor has two 12-paned sashes. The King Street facade of No. 26 mirrors this pattern with two similar sashes on each floor, alongside a shop front. Numbers 27, 27A, 28, and 28A are three storeys high and have a roughcast finish over stone. They feature two small shop fronts each, a centrally located boarded door providing access to upper flats, and two 16-paned sash windows on each of the upper floors.
