Description

The Waverley Hotel is a late 18th-century building in the Gothic style. The King Street facade features a six-panelled door and two sash windows on the ground floor. Above this are two round-arched windows on the first floor and two ogee-headed windows at the top. The facade is constructed from red sandstone ashlar, with the ground floor painted. The Crown Square facade includes a gabled wing with bargeboards, an ogee-headed window, a Venetian window and round-headed windows. A lower three-storey section to the right has sash windows.
